Device guide for RUTX11

Basic Knowledge

How to access the internal settings of a Teltonika device (RutX11)

  1. Connect to the RUTX11 using either wireless or Ethernet connection.
  2. Factory reset the device (if needed) by holding the reset button on the device for 10 seconds. The device will then reboot.
  3. Go to 192.168.1.1
    1. Default Username: admin/ Default Password: admin01
    2. It will make you change the password, so you will need to factory reset the device if this does not work.

How to enable automatic sim switch

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to Network>Mobile>Sim switch 
  2. Enable Automatic sim switching (This will allow the device to swap sims depending on which is better in your location at the time)

How to change the APN

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to Network>WAN
  2. MOB1S1A1 is SIM 1- MOB1S2A1 is SIM 2
  3. Click the Pencil Icon on the SIM you need to change the APN on

  1. Toggle off Auto APN
  2. Click the APN drop-down menu and select custom 
  3. Enter the APN for the corresponding plan
  4. It will look like this

How to view your estimated usage

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to Status>Mobile Usage
  2. You can now view by Day, Week, or Month 
  3. Keep in mind this is only an estimate, the best way for a customer to check usage is always with us.

How to view your Mobile information such as IMEI

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to Status>Network>Mobile

How to Factory Reset the device

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to System>Administration>General 
  2. At the bottom, click restore to factory default 
  3. You can also factory reset the device by holding the button on the front of the device for 30 seconds

How to change the SSID

  1. While logged into the devices internal settings go to Network>Wireless
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the Network Name you would like to change
  3. Under General, Setup ESSID can be changed to the Network name you would like
  4. To change the password go to Wireless security in the same location and change the password to whatever you want
  5. Click Save & Apply
